Elliot Brown Reviews:

From Under The Radar:
One of the more under-appreciated troubadours of New Zealand
music, Elliot Brown has been a force of lyrical talent and
tobacco / brandy-fuelled witticisms for as long as I've known
him (and for the purpose of transparency, that has been some
time...). Delerium Tremens is a term used to describe the
horrifying fear sometimes experienced during withdrawal symptoms
from heavy drinking. Not to endorse a culture of alcoholism
amongst undertheradar.co.nz's readers, I have to admit that the indulgences that Elliot
has intentionally suffered over the years has served both him
and his craft well.

Jamie Kifer via Amazon:
This collection of work by Elliot Brown
exists to alter your perception of music. His haunting harmonies
and melodies are reminiscent of the work of the Beatles (The
White Album (Remastered)), but far from a carbon copy of their
work. The disc in its totality is a lyrical masterpiece,
unmatched in today's world of music. This 21 track CD captures
the full spectrum of human emotion with complex melodies and
highly visual lyrics. Elliot Browns work is inspired by
traditional artists such as Hank Williams(Hank Williams - 40
Greatest Hits) and Bill Monroe(All the Classic Releases
1937-1949), harmonic master minds like Brian Wilson(California
Feelin' The Best Of Beach Boys), the melodic complexities of
Bach(Greatest Hits) and Mozart(Essential Mozart: 32 Of His
Greatest Masterpieces), and the sheer rhythmic and lyrical
genius of poets, such as Edgar Allan Poe (Edgar Allan Poe's
Complete Poetical Works).
